LUSO
A one-month-long design project for a university cultural organization.
Establishing a rebrand through evaluation of the Association's current brand. Researching other local and rooted groups at the university for insights. Participating in the organization's events to better understand who the Luso-Brazilian Association is.
The Association's brand had yet to be developed, only having a set of colors and a logo badge. Other organizations had transitioned to more contemporary design and marketing. Although not developed, the group had a consistent number of members through word of mouth. It was a community, almost a second home for many students and faculty.
My plan for the Association was to develop a more definite brand identity, with the Mission statement playing a pivotal role in setting the foundation. A new logo was designed to link the Association's roots to the university and Brazil. Incorporating a brand guideline for the members helps give direction to the marketing. Lastly, a social media post and a physical brochure were designed to kickstart the organization's rebranding journey.
